Some one passed this article on to me in Dec, but due to email issues I first was able to check this out. According to the article Japanese scientists can reconstruct the images inside a person’s mind and display them on a computer monitor, it was announced on December 11. Does anyone know what to do to fix the problem of rusty water?

I just moved into this apt, and while it isn't a dive, it definitely isn't the cream of the crop, but it is affordable. Normally, I don't see any problems with the water, the toilet runs clear, as do the faucets. However, yesterday I went to run my first bath/ shower in the new place and the water is brown and iron smelling. I ran the water for 15 minutes with no change.

Clearly, the water is not going to hurt me, However the iron smell as well as the discoloration of the water are off putting. Any fit-it solutions ?

Finally moved into my new place. I took about 1/2 of my stuff to the local Salvation Army. When , where, and why did I acquire so many material goods I have no idea...

While I was down at the SA dropping off boxes of stuff , I saw a Blood Drive flier. While I can't give myself, I have with in the last couple years been to one of the listed countries on their no no list, I encourage anyone who can donate to do so; and if you don't pass their questionnaire (like myself) to help in other ways. I am manning the paper work sign in desk (well gophering with hardboards and pens, etc). It isn't the most glamorous, and I won't get juice and cookies, but hey it is for a good cause.

Please help where you can.

Oh my god!

I finally discovered this hot new (at least new to me) author about 2 hours ago. His/Her SGA series is to die for! I read through the whole thing and want to go back to do it again.

If you too have been missing out on the wonder that is Koshecka, run do not walk to McShep and read Koshecka's work! The McShep friendship is so vivid you that I can't find words to describe it, and mmmmm have to love that slow, strong build up. It just makes everything just... better.

You know how we go around thinking that we will never use (enter knowledge area here) untill finally, suprise, you do have to use said area in real life.

Well yet again I am forced to accept that I am a dumb ass who should have paid more attention. Thank god for forgiving professor who are willing to forgive stupidity and reteach cocky young idiots.

Multiple regression, my former nemisis, is turning out to be my best friend. It is magic people! So anyone in a graduate program that thinks that they can just ignore regression and only pay half assed attention in class, bring a camcorder and record the classes if you can't manage to stay awake, you will need them later.

One of the bad things about taking a long extended vacation is that eventually you have to return to work. Normally this is a daunting task, but when combined with the resolution that "This year I will not procrastinate."has turned into a whole new scary prospect. What was I thinking?!I think I should have stuck with my old tradition of not making any New Year's resolutions. It was so much easier that way. no commitments.

On the topic of resolutions: I also resolved for the first time to actually write down one of the stories that has been bouncing around in my head. (Again what was I thinking?!) Wish me luck.
